(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); when i start black ops up it does the intros but it doesnt say "Reading HDD" and after the intros finish it just goes to a black screen. Every other game works on it.

Not really. You could try to delete all Black Ops game data and then thoroughly clean the disc.

it still doesnt work

used to do this to me here and there. just delete game data and turn off ps3 and clean off the disc and you should be good. and when u have it loaded up in multiplayer go to settings and change it to where it loads straight to multiplayer so it doesnt go through the hole main menu. so it doesnt freeze up on you. this is what helpd for me.
