And if its already known, sorry for posting this. I've been playing a ton of S& and think i found a way to silently use equipment but timing is key.
1. (lets use claymores as an example) pull out claymore and hold R1
2. as you plant the claymore, press R2 to pull out a Tomahawk (wouldnt recomend frag, youl see why)
3. Your character should plant the claymore without saying anything and should be holding the tomahawk.
4. simply press triangle to pull your gun back out and there you go.
If it seems stupid or useless, too bad for you, but for those that dont use ninja pro and still want to be less loud, this should be helpfull.

Stop saying sorry sorry sorry you post something **** the rest even if it doesn't work then no problem it could be a idea... Just one thing when you press R2 for the semtex it makes a little sound anyways..

actually a decent idea for SnD but wont the semtex make tht beep?????

yeah but the beep its self isnt as bad as going "planting claymore!" or whatever he may say. you know what im guna edit this and replace semtex with a tomahawk.

tomahawk is a good idea
