well ive only gotten 4 connection bars once maybe twice....and i dont recall realy ever getting 2 im on 3 99% of the time but some games i can totaly stop ass....and in like the next game or 2 i play i will feel like my aim sucks and the hit detection will just be shit...like to the point where u should prolly just put the controller on the ground and walk away cuz anybody that u see will prolly drop u after u get like 4 hitmarkers on them. lol BUT anyways....do you guys have any faith in the local only setting? or will it still be the 3 bars and the good games and the bad games randomized?

These settings are called client filters
In other words it blocks out certain games in this case games from not your area.

So EU players search for EU games and US for US games.
Local locks it down to the whole EU not the world which is what default does.
Local only your home nation.

Only effect it has is ping times , if you look at the bar that gives you a hint of the ping. Your ping between 1-150ms for each bar.

Problem is......sometimes the game can find you a low ping game which is not from your area other times it does not. And depends far too much on network conditions of too many players.

It does help but not needed all the time. Most of the time i get 4 bars to full.

hmm...well i have noticed i get stuck playing with alot of foreign speaking players..lol but ill still have 3 bars and have the issue where ishoot a clip of and die and kill cam says i shot like 3 rounds and then died or the guy walks around the corner and drops me before i can pull the trigger lol. Oh and i just played a game on local only...got 4 bars! but so did everybody else but like 2 players lol and the next with 3...but didnt realy see if with 3 i was still having the bad game scenario cuz i was all exited about the last game i was just running around pumping bullets into ppl lol


but with 3 bars can u still have realy good games and horrible games depending on where the host is? i always thought with 3 bars u would always get the same outcome each game.

oh and thank you for taking the time to reply. just realy sick of going like 30-4 one game and the next feel like a 1 armed downsyndrom kid lol oh and have u ever heard of the having less friends on psn can decrease lag? if so u think that true?

i have it on local and havent noticed a difference. i can still shoot someone 10 times and still lose the gunfight.

for me, Default is 4 bars xD
