its not a glitch, it sometimes lags a little so when new players join they have other players clans and emblems. But once the game starts he would just be normall again.

Once the game starts it wouldn't show the color anyway.

I know a dude that was 15th prestige and got reset to ground zero, but he kept all his gold guns, colored tags, pro perks, and his KD... so, I guess it coulda happened to that guy. But then again, its black ops, so who the hell knows. Lol
