Just yesterday I was playing Black Ops just fine with no problems.
I played some zombies, some multiplayer, some campaign.
Everything was okay.
Then later on that day (after playing some other games) I go back to playing zombies on black ops.
My girlfriend messaged me and wanted to play multiplayer, so I went to multiplayer.
When I click multiplayer, the loading circle and Call of Duty Black Ops pops up.
It loads.... and loads..... and loads...... and loads...
Never ending loading. I looked at my disk and it is perfectly fine, no scratches or smudges.
And earlier i was playing CoD4 with patchblocker for mah hacks
and so I tried patchblocking BO and guess what?
Multiplayer loaded PERFECTLY.
Idk whats going on.
Anyone got any help?

excellent advice man.

I tried it on a different account too diddnt work,
But i just tried it on someone elses PS3 and it worked like a charm... so maybe i have hidden corrupted data somewhere.... :/

Have you tried resetting your Internet settings on the PS3? Maybe when you used the patch blocker, the proxy or what ever it is changed for some reason.

Yeah i fixed it, after trying EVERYTHING.... i finally restored my ps3 and at first it took a little bit to load and i got UBER PISSED.
But then it loaded and i was like "YEAH SUCK THAT ! ITS CAUSE IM A FRIGGIN BOSS DUDE! SCREW TREYARCH AND SONY!"
Thats exactly what i said haha...
after 6 hours of restoring my ps3... Result = Fixed Black Ops..
Here i come babe, im about to kick your ass on nuketown...

Me too, and thanks.
It upsetted me SO much.
But i guess restoring the ps3 works if your games ever stop working

or because you were using patch blocker your settings were still changed (internet still set to use proxy) and so you wasted the 6 hours required to format the ps3

No my proxy was off haha.

Same craps been going on with me again last night i had to pull my power from my slim twice it just hard froze.
Also when the psn was down i thought i might as well finish the game but every time i got to where you meet the president my game would crash so i used my brothers copy same thing then i opened up my slim cleaned it all laser etc still the same thing in the same place as a last resort i deleted the update and guess what it worked.
Its their fault the patches suck donkey ass.
