wouldnt it make more sense if the monkey crash landed in ascension (which it does with the falling rocket parts when monkeys come) and then through shangri-La they monkeys are trying to get back to space ( and thats when you see the rocket going up into space) and then in space the monkeys go and tell their "Master" that theres humans and when the humans land in space hes one angry mother****er!!
