I'm wondering where Treyarch will take the story next, or is it possible this is the end of zombies. In my own opinion i think the next zombie maps will be set trying to destroy group 935 and finish them off. What do you think will happen next?

its over guys. its hard to realize, but yes zombies mode is done for good. they blew up the earth. where would we even fight zombies?

We (the fans) are in a rare position to get to get a say in whatever maps come out 3rd gun perk!! If enough people want a solo zombies game and for treyach to produce that then thats whats next think of the maps that can be created.

"Richtofen believes he can now control the zombies. When they attempt to travel to Area 51, the group finds that it is overrun, so they take a teleporter to a top-secret Moon facility. Due to the Element 115 on the moon, astronauts and scientists sent there have been zombified before the group's arrival. Richtofen then has the group complete the device (which has been built in the form of an ancient pyramid). When the device is completed, it opens up to reveal Samantha Maxis suspended in the air. As it turns out, the device acts like a prison and uses her to control the zombies. Richtofen finally thinks everything has gone his way, until Takeo, Tank, and Nikolai decide to stop him. Dr. Maxis, sensing Richtofen's betrayal, prepared a backup plan in case Richtofen got this far. (He even referred to Richtofen by name in his radio message.) The group fires the missiles located on the moon and blows up the earth. Now free from Richtofen's control, Samantha possesses him."

In the final step of the easter egg all they do is be free from Richtofen's control. So now Samantha possesses him. We'll have to wait for the next treyarch game to wait and find out. I honestly am a bigger fan of zombies but that's just me. But there is teleporters and time travel in this game so we never know. maybe they travel further ahead in time and theres still the zombie outbreak and since Samantha controls the zombies we never know.
