NOTICE: In order to play the beta version of alterOps, you will need a forum account that a) is at least 6 months old, and b) a minimum of 25 posts. Without these, YOU CANNOT PLAY ALTEROPS.
1. Download and extract the MP Rip from You must login or register to view this content.
2. Run install dependencies.bat.
3. Run alterOps.exe as administrator and have the game update itself.
4. Launch BlackOpsMP.exe and play!

Frequently asked Questions
1) When will alterOps be released?
ETA is unknown. Making topics about final release will result in a warn/ban.
2) How can I play Singleplayer or zombies?
You can't. alterOps currently supports multiplayer, and multiplayer only.
3) Help, my stats keep resetting every time I launch the game!
Stats reset when the server is down at exiting the client because they cannot save. Making topics about your stats resetting will result in a warn/ban.
4) Error: 'your stats could not be validated'!
Open the console game and type in /resetStats, after a box will appear '
ownloading game settings', let it to finish it and a message will appear saying that your stats has been reset.
5) Connecting/Downloading Game Setttings/Fetching Stats Error
This is a commonly known error, as the servers are currently unstable. If you are getting this message, be patient and wait for the servers to go back up.
6) Help! I can't download the files from You must login or register to view this content.
As mentioned in size 200 font at the beginning of this topic, your account must be 6 months old and you must have a minimum of 25 posts. Spamming for 25 posts will result in a permanent ban.
7) Will level hacking be allowed?
No.
Credui.dll error/cannot launch game on XP
alterOps will not work on Windows XP. Update your 10 year operating system or deal with it.
9) How do I play DLC maps?

10) Will there be theater mode in alterOps?
Most likely not, as demo recording is fully functional in Black Ops.

Very smart from them putting the fact that it doesn't work for Win XP on the bottom of the list.
Just wasted 6 and a half hours downloading the damn thing only to realize it is not working with Win XP.
So,I will be giving my account on the forums,but I expect that you don't spam the forums with it,or change the password and/or email adress so I can log back in it to post on forums after AlterOps is released for everyone.
