ok so there are some of u on xlink kai that cant get this working, reason being is that some steps i had to get from other tuts. so im here to help you guys out to get it working. follow steps completely. i know that there are other tuts for this so dont flame me im just helpin some ppl on xlink kai out. this is pretty much a copy and paste with some edited addons.


Hello everyone, this tutorial is designed to have the First Strike maps and Classic World At War Map on one and the same game

The downside was that First Strike only works with the maps and BLUS30591 World At War with the BLES01031, using this tutorial you will have the BLUS30591.

Know that in this tutorial, we only use the BLUS, saying that it should work perfectly with the BLES.
I still advise you to turn your BLUS in BLES and for that, change the PARAM.SFO.

Remember, the USB drive must be formatted in FAT32.

Delete the data set of Call of Duty!

# 1 - Go to the BLES BLUS:

If you already have version BLUS, this step does not apply to you.

# 1.1 - How do you know your version:

Open Multiman (version 2.X) and pass it XMMB mode (Clone XMB).
Put on your game Call of Duty: Black OPS and press triangle.
Bottom left, you will cover the game and under the ID of the game (or BLES01031 BLUS30591).
Note: If you did not want to break your head, change the PARAM.SFO and you'll be sure to have the correct version.

# 1.2 - Change PARAM.SFO

Get the PARAM.SFO version BLUS: You must login or register to view this content.
Place this file in the PS3_GAME Call of Duty.
Now your game is called Call of Duty (R): Black Ops [U.S.].


# 2 - Install the updated 1.9 Call of Duty:

First download the pkg update 1.09: You must login or register to view this content.
Place the file Shift BLUS 1.09.pkg the root of a USB key.
Connect your USB to your PS3 and install it from the XMB> Game> Install Package Files.


# 3 - Install the DLC:

Now you need to download the needed files to the PS3 to play the DLC.
You can choose between a premium megaupload link: You must login or register to view this content.

Password: Sof-26
Contents: dlc1.edat, dlc2.edat, file and folder dlc2 DLC1.

Once the files are downloaded, you must place them in the Game Data folder of the PS3: dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30591/USRDIR.

And in the XMB> Game> Game Data Utility> Call of Duty> size = 2823 MB> = Version 1.09.

These files are installed in the DLC, now you must activate them.


# 4 - Setting up AccountId:

Be careful because this step is the most complex (though she is not very hard!).

# 4.1 - Create two new users:

Go to the XMB> Users (left).
Create two new users (call them what you want, mine is called First Strike and WaW).
These accounts will not serve your use, leave them aside.

# 4.2 - Backup the registry of the PS3:

We will use a utility for its Team Rebug, xReg More: https://www.megaupload.com/?dDHBH6NY
Install the update as to place the information at the root of a USB key and install with the Install Package Files on PS3.
A new homebrew appeared: xReg Plus V1.0, open it.
Put a USB port in the far right of your PS3 and press SELECT, you will see this: Status: BACKUP xRegistry.sys SUCCESSFULL.

Note: If you see FAILED, check the USB port and you're using.

Now in your key, you xRegistry.sys the root is the registry of your PS3.

# 4.3 - Editing the registry PS3

Make a backup of the file before handling.
XRegistry.sys the file can be edited using the software xRegistryEditor.exe: https://www.megaupload.com/?d=UI1GZT9D
Run the software and open the file xRegistry.sys.

Now we have to find your ID for new users. It's simple, it's the last 2.
If you have 00000001, 00000003, 00000004, 00000006, 00000007, 2 New users will be 6 and 7.
If you have trouble in this case search / setting/user/0000000 * / account/utf8name, you will see the name that corresponds to the ID.


For my part I have 00000001 and 00000002 are both new and 00000003. Customize with your numbers.
The first strike will be for 2 and 3 for WaW, we must be careful that it is consistent!

To / setting/user/00000003/npaccount/accountid, the value is "486cc1ba7d05141b"
Made save in the bottom right.

Now save the xRegistry.sys with File> Save.
To verify that you did not cheat, re-open the file and check the accountid.

# 4.4 - Restore the registry of the PS3:

Place the USB into the USB port on the PS3.
Start xReg Plus.
Press Start, you get a success message.
Reboot the PS3.

your accountid are set up, now you still have the rif and act.dat.


# 4 - Act.dat and Rif:

Place the files in: hdd0/home/0000000 * / Exdata
* Adjust based on the account that represents it.

For me, the account has accountID 1d5fc19ec569c29c 00000002 and in the act Exdata it. Dat rif and First Strike.
the account 00000003 has accountID 486cc1ba7d05141b and the Exdata it the act. dat and rif of World At War.

You can now start the game and enjoy the maps!

Note: This deletes act.dat each time you restart the console, be sure to hand them over before each launch of the game if you want the map!

i tried it and i just cant get it working this is the 4 tut that i follow and did it more than 3 times i know im doin something wrong but what

make sure the folder is exdata not Exdata no caps

yeah i know i tried both allready i did it with blus en bles version of the game
