Create a new user on you ps3


Create a new user on your ps3 and name it to whatever you want.

Part 5

Copying the files over


Copy the First Strike maps to the root of your usb stick. Extract the activation pack
to the root of your usb. You will want to use the usb port furthest to the right on the PS3. Install the first strike pkg file. Then install XReg Plus pkg to your PS3.

Copying the PS3's Registry


Now run XReg Plus on your ps3 with the usb stick still connected. Press select to back up the ps3's registry to
the usb stick. Once that is done, take the usb back to your computer.


Part 7

Editing the PS3's Registry


Now you have a file on your usb stick named "xRegistry.sys" this is your ps3's registry. I suggest you make a back
up of it and place it somewhere safe right now. Next you need to install XRegistry Editor on your PC. Open the
XRegistry.sys on the usb. Click the settings tab to sort everything. Now widen the settings tab so you can see the directories completely. Scroll thru until you see the name of the new user you created in the VALUE column. when you find that make note of the directory in the settings column. It will be "setting/user/0000000X/ (X is a number). This is the user number for the account you created. We will only make changes to this user so make sure you get the number for the new account correct.


Now that you know the user number scroll until you see

setting/user/0000000X/npaccount/accountid

on the right change the VALUE to 1d5fc19ec569c29c

click save and verify it changed in the VALUE column.

Next scroll until you see

setting/user/0000000X/ytaccount/accountid

on the right change the VALUE to 1d5fc19ec569c29c

click save and verify it changed in the VALUE column.

Once this is done save the changes by clicking file > save.... not just the save button! Now you should have the edited xRegistry.sys
on your usb stick.

Part 8

Copying the registry back to the PS3


Plug in the usb stick (furthest to the right) and run XReg Plus again. This time press start to restore. When it is done you need to do
a complete reboot.

Part 9

Copying over the activation files


Now use your favorite file manager to browse to

dev_hdd0/home/0000000X. (the same number as before)

create a folder there called "exdata".

so it should look like this

dev_hdd0/home/0000000X/exdata

copy the act.dat and the UP0002-BLUS30591_00-CODBLACKOPSDLC02.rif to the exdata folder.


Now you are done. Enjoy first strike dlc on your jailbroken ps3. You can use it in single player or you can use it on
XLinkkai or XBSLInk.

Please note that the PS3 deletes the act.dat every shutdown so you will have to re-copy act.dat each time you want to use the DLC. A small price to pay

PS3 then just play.
