did you update the game? if not, try signing into psn before starting up black ops, then it will give you the option to download the TU. Hope this helped

TU? whats that and after youre signed in can u sign out then start black ops? or must yoiu always be signed in?

you need to be signed in on psn and be on the latest patch, it wont ask you to download a new update, it`ll just put you on new playlists :y:

TU is a title update - when you it asks you to update when you start the game

He is banned. If he tries to get on black ops with his banned account, with the latest patch installed, he can't download a playlist. He needs to be on an unbanned account(not an unbanned console, just a different psn account)to download the playlist. Then it should work.
