the idea is just simple
1. get update file
2. extract them
3. patch them
4. rebuild pkg file
5. remove all Black Ops Patches from PS3
6. Start ettercap with an filter that replace the download data
7. start black ops and allow update

now you should have a modded patch installed.

Its so simple ? Or im missed some parts thats make this impossible ?

Rebuilding the pkg is not that easy. And you are just saying words, its not that easy to do , its easy to say but not to do.
EDIT: You also have to edit the PS3 PATCH which haven't been decrypted.

Its possuble but the hard part is "Rebuilding" the pkg. You need some updated 3.72 keys for pkg and they havent found that yet
