Even with the release of much loved Gears of War 3, black ops has still been top of the online play list on xbox live.

Many people were excited for the release of the next Gears Of War installment, but the chart shows the amount of players who took the game online, is still below black ops, even after the game was released al most a year ago.

The amount of Gears fans couldn't over-throw the leading title, Black ops. But why is this?? You would expect within the games release, many player would be heading towards the game and its online play,including co-op and haude mode, but black ops multiplayer is still going strong.

Do you still play black ops as much as you did when it first came out??
Are you surprised its still in the #1 spot a year on??

It managed to over take modern warfare 2, but not black ops. here is the top 10 last week....

theres nothing wrong with bops i dont understand all the hate it gets i love it

For black ops, I play with friends and mute everyone else. Thats why the mute button is there. You don't have to listen to the little kids.

Black ops is trash. 1 more week of this bullshit game

Its the same every year.
People hated MW2 when that was out, then when MW2's time was up everyone loved it again and hated Black Ops, now that Black Ops' time is nearly up everyone is starting to love that again and people will soon hate MW3. Its the way of the fanboys.

I have a feeling that MW3 will overtake the list in a week of its release.

Black ops was horrible. i also hated W@W aside from zombies

It will slowly begin to die now that MW3 is out. Most of the people that will continue to play it are the people playing for nostalgia or were not able to buy Modern Warfare 3.

Black ops can be fun sometimes, but on the other hand it sucks the sweat off of a turkey's balls. Lets just all agree to disagree, some people like turkey ball sweat, others rather play a game thats fun for everybody. As for me, I'll still play black ops only for its zombies until I get Dead Island and MW3.
