1) Make sure Load to Multiplayer is enabled
2) Click play online, load up a private match and end it
3) Back out and go back to the zombies main menu
4) Get out of the seat by pushing L2 and R2 and get back into the seat
5) Click play online again
6) Click multiplayer right away pushing x rapidly
7) Might need to repeat these steps twice

If it doesn't work for you ill remove this thread. It works for me all the time.

i dont think this is going to work because you gotta port forward your router

This shoud help out with some local friends I would like to play with but can never seem to get in a lobby together since we have different NAT types.

i think a better way is to set up a static ip for the ps3 and turn on DMZ mode on the router for it. DMZ mode forwards EVERY PORT

Yeah, but my friends arent real tech champs. So I could never tell them an easy way for them to be able to understand over the phone.

how do i enable DMZ? my routers a piece of shit and doesnt let me port forward (i havent successfully done it yet) so if you can explain maybe ill finally be able to port forward my shitty router

there should be an option called DMZ under games and applications. just put ur ps3s ip there and select activate DMZ
