(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Before we start, I know xNoobzBelowMe already made a tutorial on this, but it's hard to understand so I thought I'd make my own tutorial.

Requirements:

-6 custom classes
-2 controllers
-Friend with a strict NAT type

1. Get your friend to stay in a party.
2. Go to split-screen, choose CTF on Nuketown, and connect your 2nd controller.
3. Go back to the multiplayer menu, then hover over split-screen.
4. Press △ and find your friend who is in the party.
5. While hovering over their name, press □ and then X rapidly on both controllers.
6. The split-screen game should start, and you should see 'Nuketown - CTF'
7. When you connect you should see your online classes.
8. With Controller 1 pick 'Custom Class 6' and with Controller 2 pick 'Custom Class 1'
9. Win the first round with your 2nd controller by capturing 3 flags.
10. In the 2nd round, bring your 2nd controller to the enemy flag, once you've taken it, stay on the flag base.
11. Kill your 2nd controller with your 1st controller, and return your flag.
12. Now take your 1st controller to the enemy flag, and stay on the flag base.
13. You should see your XP increasing constantly. Once you reach Level 28, step off the flag.
14. Kill your 1st controller with your 2nd controller and return the flag.
15. Once your 1st controller respawns, capture the enemy flag.
16. In overtime, repeat steps 10~13, except you must step off the flag when you reach Level 38 or your PS3 will freeze.
17. When you get to Level 38, tell your friend to kick you from the party.
18. After you've been kicked, sign out and sign in.
19. You should now be Level 38!

I'm thinking of trying this glitch. I recently made the stupid decision to prestige after being at first prestige for over a year and being 'happy' with it. I just want those golden guns too much. Anyway, my question is two-fold.

1. Do we know why your PS3 crashes after Lvl. 38?

2. Would I have problems if, after following the instructions and not going beyond Lvl. 38, I started the glitch again to reach Lvl. 50? 38 is exactly in the middle of your progression to Lvl. 50 in terms of XP.

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Happened to me a few times, you're doing something wrong. Try again.

Not too sure why your PS3 freezes, I think it's something to do with a max XP limit.

Also, you'll notice when you kill your 2nd controller in the 2nd round, you get promoted from Level 1 to Level 2, therefore every time you do this glitch, you get reset to Level 1 at the start of the game. So unfortunately, this isn't possible.

Damn. I had just done calculations for XP, as well. I had worked out that (prior to you pointing out it won't work), the milestones for stopping and repeating the glitch would be 28, 38, 44, and 49. Balls. Oh well, looks like I'm in for the long haul if I ever want those golden guns! Thanks for the tutorial.

Sidenote: I was once in a game in a party on WMD. The party leader backed out, and the one other person followed. It took me a moment to back out because I was having fun killing people. Anyway, when I got back into the lobby, it did that thing where it showed the other party members, but none of us could hear each other. Weirdly, my level was showing '50', even though I had just moved into second prestige. It stayed that way for a few moments (maybe fifteen seconds?) before returning to Lvl. 2ish (can't quite remember, very early into second prestige).

I didn't think of it at the time, but maybe the 'Prestige Mode' option would have been clickable? To be clear, there were three of us in the party, and I don't think the party leader had a great NAT type. Mine is always 'open' (I use a CAT5 cable, balls to wireless!). I'll try and recreate the situation with him at some point soon. As you can tell, I'm pretty desperate to cheat my way up the ranks. I do have over 8 days of game time, I just never went beyond prestige 1 Lvl. 50. Damn I'm regretting that decision. I would probably be 15th by now, or very near to it.

Thanks for your help, anyway.

Bro, does this glitch reset your loses and deaths? it seems familiar to that glitch, so I was just wondering.

That happened to me a few times, I don't think it would lead anywhere unfortunately.
You're welcome.

If done correctly, this resets your time played, and deaths.
Sometimes if you've not done the glitch fully correctly, it will reset your kills too.
