the only option you have atm is to use a lag switch, other than that no working way is fully functional

Just keep going into lobbies until you get host. :p

Use the lag switch method when going into a lobby turn it on until it starts to count down once the awaiting gamestate comes up you turn it off.. worked for me :-)

I don't know how but I'm Normally Host 50MBDL & 10MB UL so if someone Resigns for me then i'll host XP Lobbies

The Best Way is to get a full party & join a game. 9 times out of 10, your not gonna merge. & since your the party leader, you will be host.!

You can try uploading a video to a hosting site e.g Youtube, as it's uploading, join a game and vote for a map. After you have voted, cancel the upload and people will start to join your lobby and you'll most likely be host. It's the method I'm using now and it works 9/10 times.
