You could always get the old prestige files, bypass and hit play online, and the stats would rest. (Just an idea)

You can reset yourself by using an old update and connect to black ops server. Then you can do the prestige hack.

You can actually do it with the new updated way without doing anything differently i have tested this before just to see what would happen and it worked fine.
