You can use Nettools and use the "udp flooder" option to flood the udp protocol on your connection. If you flood it too much you can get signed out of PSN but if you do it just enough it can help you attain host. You will need to search on here to find a tutorial on using the udp flooder in nettools and play around with the amount of flood. If you flood just a bit too much nobody will connect to you. If you flood just right you will be put in your own lobby and people will start to join. You will need to turn off the udp flooder before it "searches for best host" though.

The best way to get host is have a ping lower then 30 and attain a good upload speed and as always make sure your nat type is open. That will get u host now the way the guy told u above his method will probably work 10% of the time. The way I told u is 95% working on any game. Hope I helped.

I know the problem it happens to me change the ethernet cable thats the problem. Once I changed mine it put me in my own lobby and gave me host but before it kept join pre game lobbies.
