***UPDATE**** Nevermind. I did get banned on a couple accounts. But this last one I think the servers are just down. ****
I data transferred the 1.13 update with the 1.02 patch.ff from my 3.55 to two of my OFW consoles. My Fat OFW does not read discs and my slim does. On my Fat I had the downloaded version of Black Ops and for my Slim I used the disc. First I used a modded gamesave on my Fat and played off the hard drive. Obviously that was a bad idea as the update is built into the game rather than using the Game Data and I got banned quickly. So I used the mods on mod only account. When I was playing legit, I'd use my primary account on my Slim. In the last week. I got banned on my primary account when I've never played with mods on it but obviously I have the 1.02 patch.ff on that console.
So I went to my Fat, deleted the Game Data and redownloaded it. So, I should have no mods at all on the PS3 now. I went onto an account that I haven't used in months (before I ever started modding). Used my Fat that has no modified files and after 4 hours, I just got banned. I think 3ARC is really cracking down and they've found a way to determine if you have modified patches on your console whether you've used mods on that account ever or not.
What I don't understand is why I got banned on an account that I've never modded with on a console with no mods at all. How are they doing this? Any thoughts?
Plus some of my friends that were in the lobby with me are getting banned as well. They've never used mods, just joined my host. These mods worked for over two months with no ban. Now accounts that I wasn't modding on and friends are getting banned. How?!
