After a leak revealing Infinite Warfare Call of Duty Points in the Playstation Store, it has become apparent that micro-transactions will be a feature added onto Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

After what seems to be a realization of the common mistake of accidentally posting information that isn't to be released yet, it was taken down with reports of North American users being able to see Call of Duty Points in the HUD menu within the title, when online mode is disabled.

Call of Duty points are a way to spend money out of your own pocket for a digital currency, coins, where you can spend them on guns, various customization and other cosmetic items. This was very controversial amongst the community of Black Ops II, which is believed to be copied as far as costs:

  • 200 CP for $1.99 USD
  • 1100 CP for $9.99 USD
  • 2400 CP for $19.99 USD
  • 5000 CP for $39.99 USD
  • 13000 CP for $99.99 USD
