(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So the big question about the holographic sight in MW2 is what makes it different from the red dot ?

Well here's the answer:

- Zooms in slightly more

- On the M16 increases the accuracy to the standards of the FAMAS.

I've yet to discover more attachments that alter the stats of guns but if there is any more I will post in the future.

The holo on the M16 doesn't help you use the full potential of the gun. It's accurate at massive range so the red dot is better for that pinpoint shooting. The holo should only be used on medium to short range weapons.

The benefit of a holo is that you can see through the edges of the dot, and the middle is still somewhat transparent. The red dot is opaque, and it's small "halo" is also opaque. I've found I get more headshots with the holo, especially at great distance because I can see through it, while the rds you can not.
