One Man Army Short Guide
One Man Army is unlocked at rank 45 and is a perk 1. It allows you to switch class at any time during the match, by putting one man army on multiple classes you can continually switch classes. One man army pro halves the time it takes to swap classes(from 6 to 3 seconds i think) and i believe you need 200 kills with one man army for the pro version.
every time you switch class it refills all your ammo and equipment, so you can switch to the class you currently have on to refill your ammo.
This is how i got a 50 legit killstreak without running out of ammo, or risking a death and currently maintain a 4.52 k/d(increasing all the time) with ease(48K Kills), i mainly play defensively and 90% of the modes i play are Core Team Deathmatch and Free-For-All. If you have a personality disorder and cannot help but post anti-camping comments/abuse then please stop reading now thanks
One man army is not effective for rushing. It also removes your Secondary Weapon slot.
How to use One Man Army
1.It refills your ammo and equipment, so you can place 1 claymore, switch to the class you have on and immediately place a second claymore. This makes it ideal for defensive play.
2.You may have seen many people using it in this way, it can effectively give you unlimited rifle grenade ammunition.
3.You can use all equipment. For example il place my 2 claymores, then switch to C4 and place 1 C4 pack near each claymore to increase the blast radius, then il switch to a class that has tactical insertion and plant 1, and then if i so choose i could switch to a blast shield class to protect myself from grenades. so the more classes you have the more effective one man army becomes.
4. You can make use of all perks. For example il use stopping power with a 5,7,11 killstreak, when i get 3 kills with my stopping power class il switch to my hardline class and get 1 kill for predator missile, so you can get streaks early while only getting 1 hardline kill and the rest with stopping power.
if the enemy get air support, il switch to my cold blooded class.
I also have danger close pro which increases air support damage, so once i get my chopper gunner il switch to my danger close pro class before i call it in and then destroy the other team.
using one man army effectively with both equipment and perks can make you practically invinceable in game, and incredibly annoying. Its Ideal for defensive play because you can use claymores and tactical insertion to respawn at your camp spot, and start off with 2 claymores straight away.
Another way i find OMA very useful is setting up a thermal sniper class for search & Destroy, that way you can grab yourself a spawn snipe collateral, then switch class and continue to play with your favoured weapon.
i hope you found this short guide useful, if you'd like to play a game sometime feel free to add my PSN: Scylla-x (if my friends list is full message me and il delete someone i don't like lol)
