depends on your playstyle, stopping power reduces the amount of bullets to kill by 1 on most guns, if your accurate,defensive or an experienced player you won't need it as much as someone that struggles to stay alive and kill people.

the WA2000 sniper isn't effected by stopping power at all, unless you silence it.
i think pretty much every other gun is.
its definately noticeable, but to decide if its useful or not you have to ask yourself when you kill someone with stopping power on, would you still have killed the person you killed had it took 3 or 4 more bullets?
if the answers yes, take it off.
obviously sometimes stopping power would make the difference, but if your a camper/defender etc you don't really need it at all, as majority of the time you'll have the advantage.

if your new to the game i'd definately suggest using stopping power at 1st.

It wont matter on the guns such as the FAL just to let you know as it is already so powerful. The only time I use it is on snipers.
