FMJ only increases Bullet Penetration, not damage, regardless of the in-game boost on the bar shown.

So, shooting through a wall or object gives you greater damage then you would have if you had FMJ off.

On the LMG'S the FMJ turns into Explosive Rounds since the LMG'S already have full bullet penetration in theory. The "Explosive Rounds" do nothing and just act exactly as FMJ.

Oh and I only use FMJ on Snipers since it helps with Collaterals and triples. Also when I like to shoot through walls when I know the enemy is there and hope to get a lucky kill.

FMJ, all it does is increase Damage through a wall

Full Metal Jacket = FMJ

That is all it is another layer over the bullet
This is highly Sci-Fi shit as it wouldn't be possible especially for SMG's and Handguns
FMJ is only good for collats and things like wall bangs.
