I rarley get lag, I have Fios internet 25/25 up/download, static ip and open nat connection wired to my ps3 not wireless. I am always the host so i know its not me. What going on with the game. Is IW doing another update??? any ideas thanks

If your the host then you shouldnt be lagging even if you have bad connection

i've seen this as well lately. I also have solid internet... not as good as the 25 FIOS.

Remember that even though this is a peer 2 peer connection, it runs through servers to connect everyone together. The Daemonware severs may be goign through an upgrade or something.

I would also try power cycling your modem and router.

this happens more and more... esepcially when I'm thrown into a game that's already started.

when I power cycle my equipment it seems to work. Just my 2 cents though. I have my system dmz'd and hardwired too

i could be wrong but when it start to do this alot, i think it casue IW is working on fixing the server or patch,,, is that possiable,,, like example working on Patch 1.09???

where did you hear that? Kinda make sense...

Just a feeling, I mean they need to work on the server and game to fix and patch. Its something i have notice since COD4.
