(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hello i've just been wondering why domination is so popular on mw2, people only played it on WaW to boost when it was double xp, hardly anyone liked the mode.

i've played it alot recently and to me it seems its the n00bs version of TDM, its not that i don't do well on it, my best 2 games were on it 53-1 and 66-2.

but people who aren't very good seem to play it because its the only way they can get kills, when the other team are focused on objectives.
My favourite mode is Core team deathmatch, i have no problem getting kills in that and keep a good k/d in it every game.
I find tdm the easiest mode, but i have played with average to below average people and even though im destroying at TDM and we are winning every game, they constantly ask for us to play domination.

so why do you play domination? for the cheap kills because you can't do anywhere near as well on Team Deathmatch? or do you play it properly.

it just really annoys me, that people always want to play domination, even though we are winning every TDM game. then 1st game of domination we lose but there still happy because they actually got more than 5 kills lol

I prefer game types where I know the spawn points. I don't like getting killed from the back because I ran past a door way and a guy just respawns.

Plus TDM seems to end too quickly.

I play domination because the ****ed up spawn system in deathmatch. It's bullshit when I kill someone and they spawn right behind me with me sighted already. That doesn't happen in domination.

Since Domination has no time limit and quite a high score limit (providing your team doesn't suck completely), killstreaks can be built easily. That being said, everyone and their sister has the opportunity to get nukes or just a generally high K/D ratio.

I play Domination pretty regularly, though I actually capture objectives and still manage to get my 7 k/s in order to get my harriers. I only 'camp' (hiding in grass) when I get a CG. The XP you get from each game is fantastic, as long as you know how to play it.

I don't like it because I suck, I like HC TDM

I've always played Demolition and I play nothing else you get fack loads of points around 10,000 a game. Most i've had is 45,000 points in one match.

I don't dislike domination, I just prefer to play TDM or FFA instead, or any other game type for that matter. Although TDM and FFA do end too quickly. Domination sucks A LOT right now because of the stupid care package glitch. I hate it when I get put into a half way match and my team is loosing because there's some arsehole calling an ECP, one after another. That's why I'll stick to FFA, no team, no objectives, just survive!

yh i don't understand the more kills thing myself, you can play 3 tdm's in the time of a long domination, you'll get the same amount of kills and 3 wins in the same amount of time, so you get ranked higher on wins too, plus tdm is alot easier to win, and you get alot of kills by helping the team

why would you choose to play domination for kills? the only reason is cheap kills, from players that are playing the mode how it should be played. if we are talking about killstreaks fair enough domination is better but who plays a mode with the specific aim of increasing their killstreak lol

as another person has said, if its points as in score, your after play demolition, its by far the best for score and killing is a big part of the game particularly when defending a planted bomb, if you want to simply rank up fast do search and destroy its a ton of xp.

the spawn points in TDM are not bad at all imo, you spawn near team mates, ive only once been screwed by the tdm spawn on wasteland, our chopper gunner was ripping the other team, they were all dead, so it put the whole entire team right behind me when i was sniping at the helicopter, but as i said its a 1 off. majority of the time the tdm spawn system actually helps you get even more kills.

I used to play alot of Sabotage in Cod4, but on MW2 its mostly Ground War because it has full party chat.
