(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hello i've just been wondering why domination is so popular on mw2, people only played it on WaW to boost when it was double xp, hardly anyone liked the mode.

i've played it alot recently and to me it seems its the n00bs version of TDM, its not that i don't do well on it, my best 2 games were on it 53-1 and 66-2.

but people who aren't very good seem to play it because its the only way they can get kills, when the other team are focused on objectives.
My favourite mode is Core team deathmatch, i have no problem getting kills in that and keep a good k/d in it every game.
I find tdm the easiest mode, but i have played with average to below average people and even though im destroying at TDM and we are winning every game, they constantly ask for us to play domination.

so why do you play domination? for the cheap kills because you can't do anywhere near as well on Team Deathmatch? or do you play it properly.

it just really annoys me, that people always want to play domination, even though we are winning every TDM game. then 1st game of domination we lose but there still happy because they actually got more than 5 kills lol

I hate domination for that reason too, although I hate tdm for the horrible spawn system.
I usually stick to mosh pit, atleast people attempt objectives there.

TDM is BY FAR the most popular mode, followed by free for all. They give you actual numbers of what people are playing in the lobby.

It's exactly as you said. People want to get cheap kills while others are playing the objective. Anyone who says they are helping there team by getting air support really needs to pull their head out of their arse and become a team player. It's because of arseholes who don't play the objective that you get spawn trapped and then get completely arse raped. Then they constantly keep getting killed because they're trapped and there is no airsupport up... People really need to use a brain cell when playing Domination.

i used to play core tdm. now i play domination because i get 20,000 xp a game

yh it just annoys me because, i was playing rundown TDM, sniping with the barret, i got a c.gunner in less than a minute and a collateral headshots, and we absolutely destroyed the other team, yet 2 people i was with still want to play domination lol

il be honest, im not keen on capturing objectives, but thats why i stick with TDM, i can get kills and plenty of air support and it actually helps my team, i have nothing forcing how i play either, i can camp, run n gun, ghost, snipe etc, on games like domination i always feel forced to defend or capture and not play how i want.

That is the whole point of the game type lol. You're meant to play the objective. The problem is people haven't got the decency like yourself to just place TDM if they're not capturing flags.

I play domination because it's the longest game and more chance to get nukes or what not. I do go for the flags though unless I'm trying for a nuke and I'm close to getting it.
I never play TDM because it's just too short, if I'm doing good my kill streaks always get interrupted by the game ending too fast.

fun, good xp, got like 60000xp in like 5 games (in total not in every singe game)

it lasts longer and you get more kills
