I'm getting one of these 2 headsets on Friday (TB21's-$79.99 USA AX180's-$69.99 USA).

I've seen mixed opinions over the internet.

I was wondering if you could share your experiences or what you've heard. I'd like to know which you think has better sound quality, durability, etc.

And if you've only used 1 of the 2, then still share your specific experience with that 1 alone.

So.. Tell me which 1 you think is worth more for the money. Should I get the cheaper AX180's or suck it up and lay down the extra 10 for the P21's..

Save up for the tritton ax720 their 130$ but if you can't get the turtlebeach p21.

I have owned the p21's and they do have a very noticable hiss and they feel cheap and weak but they do sound good. I got in a replacement for my ax 720's that i sent back(bad speaker). They weren't bad (p21) but no where as good as the 720's I got the ax180's now and there are just a little bit better than the P21's. The ax180's don't have that hiss and can be used on all three systems if that matters to you. I would get the ax 180's IMAO.

err why a choice of stereo headsets, for like an extra $40 you can get the sharkcoon xtatic full surround sound for like $100

so i see this got bumped.. well i ended up going with the majority and getting the p21s. ive had em 4 about a week and a half now and i love em.. im mainly a search player and these are AMAZING in search.. i also played in some ffa matches with em and these are definitely beast in that gamemode. although in team games like tdm, domination, etc. theres usually too much airsupport and explosions to hear much, theys till have theyre moments and u can usually hear enemies if theyre close enough (ie. sneeking up behind u) and they can save ur a$$.

now that hiss that some ppl complain about.. i notice it too when at the game menu but when in the actual game, u dont notice it at all.

overall, these are great and i love them. thanks to any1 who gave input
