I honestly, just thank God, for IW giving everyone, that one bolt action sniper rifle. I would of cried, if they hadn't. Do you think they should of given us another one? There is plenty of Automatics, how come only one bolt action? What's everyone's opinions on this matter? I notice plenty of people post threads, about what your favorite sniper rifle is, and etc. This one is totally different in my opinion.

I don't really care as I can't shoot for shit with any of them, i.e. 1 in 5 gets a kill the rest are hit markers. If they were a 1 hit kill (as they should be) then the auto would be the most useful.

I’m sure a 50 cal. bullet hitting you anywhere (except the leg = probable amputation) would almost certainly kill you, but not in MW2 it seems.

This is how it needs to be to reduce the noob-friendliness of MW2 sniping:
1. Another Bolt-Action, they actually take skill.
2. Intervention, said second bolt-action & 50 Cal One-Shot-Kills w/ Stopping Power anywhere except knees & below(incl. arms, because when people are running and you're seeing them side-on you can't really find the chest).
3. Semi-Auto Snipers 1 shot-kill to head w/ or w/o Stopping Power. Anywhere else takes 2 or more shots.

This is why I like ACOG in CoD4. I'm not a fanboy like i've been told I am, it's just I can't stand hitmarkers.

Exactly I have not once gone into a S& and seen somebody use a Intervention. They all use the .50 cal and 7 out of 10 shots is a hitmarker. Thats why all I use is the Intervention (Although I really wish theyd bring back the M40 )
