I honestly, just thank God, for IW giving everyone, that one bolt action sniper rifle. I would of cried, if they hadn't. Do you think they should of given us another one? There is plenty of Automatics, how come only one bolt action? What's everyone's opinions on this matter? I notice plenty of people post threads, about what your favorite sniper rifle is, and etc. This one is totally different in my opinion.

The game needs more bolt-actions, mainly because from my experience they are usually one-hit kills, while the M21 for example can sometimes be 3 or more!

Bolt actions take skill and there sometimes better. Also, you use, too many, commas in your, sentences.

semi-auto works a treat, you still get 1 hit kills and when they have painkiller, you get a hitmarker, or you just plain miss the target, the semi's still get you the kill.

semi's in the case of the barret, are equally as accurate, same damage, plus they have a much faster fire rate and larger clip size.

the reason for choosing bolt actions in real life, is they have more accuracy and longer range, on mw2 all the snipers have 100% accuracy and the barret has the same damage and range.

there is not 1 reason why anyone should be using the intervention over the barret, statistically the barret is superior in every way.
the only reason people use them is because they are bolt-action fanboys, wannabe pro's or they have been mislead by incorrect in game stats.

its just personal preference, if you line them up and actually compare with your brain and the factual statistics the barret is hugely superior in game. saying that, you can still do well with either, but if the argument is the intervention is better then your wrong.

i can guarantee me and my barret or me and my M21 beat you and your intervention on every map and every mode ^

I prefer using the bolt action, for a challenge. Like ashbash said, there are a lot of bolt action "fanboys", except some of them, including me, like more of a challenge when sniping. If I was going to play for kills and score, I would choose the WA2000/Barret/M21 over the Intervention any day. Except when I play, I look for more of a challenge sniping, because going 25-5 every game I snipe with a semi auto gets a bit boring. With the intervention, you face more challenges such as hitmarkers, having to reload sooner, and the delay between each shot that you take. I believe that the Barret DOES do more damage than the intervention, but the recoil of the Barret gets on my nerves. The intervention has less of a recoil and more of a challenge for me. My opinon: Bolt Action > Semi Automatic.
