(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, Ihatecompvir here, and I have something to show you.
Green is the counting pattern.
Red is the counting pattern with a different 2nd byte.
You must login or register to view this content.
What could this be? It also occurs with a different 2nd byte in CM and SP.
CM's is 05
SP's is 04
It appears to count up from 02 in all 3 files, then it goes up to 9 then it goes into A B C D E and F.
What could this be, guys? Any ideas? It would be cool if we could somehow get MP to read the CVARs in Savegame.svg to get hacks.

I've tried to get it to read off the SAVEGAME file but to no avail. I think it's because it's not programmed to read off the save game but more to read off the server, otherwise there would be havok!

it probably a security feature I.W. added, if you look at the HEX it increases by 1 value or 1 variable each time. Most likely checking the spacing, if anything gets added or decreased the servers knows its been tampered with.

How so?

Everything we've edited for online so far is the splitscreen hacks. Where the security feature stated by HSx9 is non-existant.

The mp files are signed by im saying this again RSA encryption. you can change that whole file pretty much to 00 00 00 00 and nothing will happen you can even put in player_sustainAmmo "1" and load up mw2 and not get an error its weird. If sombody was going to hack multiplayer it would have to be in the iso which are also signed just like xbox the reason why they can mod there iso is becuase you can jtag a xbox which that allows you to run unsigned code meaning you can take the rsa checks out and run without a encryption. unfortunatly you cant do that on ps3 but GeoHot and some other guy have been working with the hypervisor and he says his goal is to run unsigned code on the ps3.
