@fourzerotwo Any idea why you or Sony are doing nothing to make it possible to ban the cheaters and glitchers on #MW2?

@Kail1967 Were doing our part of eliminating exploits via updates. It's also not within our powers to ban users from their service.

So does this mean Infinityward Won`t Ban Anyone, so people wont need to worry about getting banned when doing The prestige hack?

That's an answer to my question, so you could still get banned.

I told you all months ago(several times) PS3 users shan't be banned as Sony is in control of banning and they don't ban people. Please just listen to me in future.

xbox 360 is a service thats paid for, as part of that subscription people expect the best online play and good service, microsoft therefore work with the developers of the games and ban people for hacking/glitching etc which ruins the online experience people are paying microsoft for.
they also employ moderators and such with the money from the xbox live subscriptions.

sony in order to compete with the cheaper xbox 360, offer PSN completely free, as its free you cannot demand anything. sony aren't getting paid by you each month, so they really don't care what goes on with us and infinity wards games.
however sony do and will ban if you hack and cheat in their own games, so so long as you don't cheat in a sony developed or distributed game then your fine, which is why no one has been banned for anything mw2 related.
you may also have noticed that they don't read reports either, i've recieved some quite disturbing abuse several times and the reports go completely unanswered despite evidence being provided.

I don't see the ban hammer coming down for two reasons.

1) less people to buy dlc

2) too labor intensive for iw or Sony to start banning all the people who prestige hacked this game. The idea for a company is to turn a profit. Doing so they're not going to waste resources (labor) on banning for a harmless hack. This doesn't hurt anyone really.
