Yeah its pronounced "F" "A" "L" if it was meant to be pronounced like fall or like its a word then it would be in capitol letters. FAL stands for Fusil Automatique Léger which is basically a light automatic rifle. Even though its not automatic in the game.

FAL is an acronym. So you pronounce each individual letter. The BAR from World at War is the same way.
