(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, i wanna buy a cap card, but i was wondering if you could give me advice on which to get. i play in HD, but i would like to record in SD if possible because its a lot cheaper. if thats not possible, recording in HD is fine, but i want to know which is the best bang for my buck.

Something you might be interested in is the EasyCap capture card. Its really cheap ($20) and the quality is so/so. Ive got one and was quite pleased with it. I want to upgrade to a hd pvr though. The EasyCap is worth checking out.

Heres a great thread you should also check out.

well i think i would have to play my game in SD to record with that. that is not an option as playing in SD SUCKS on a 32" hd tv.

You are correct. You did say though that you wanted a cheap way to record. I got a 46" lcd 1080p tv and playing in sd sucks but the videos don't look to bad. If I were you I would save my money up and get the HD PVR. Its a bit pricey but is well worth it.

SD loooks FU**ED on my 22" in my room.. its unbearable.

the contrast iss too high and everything goes blurry when you turn, god is it ever bad.

480p fixes the contrast and blur though... too bad dazzle doesnt support 480p
