It's the same game I think the online is a little different depending on what version you get. If you get the windows version its just as you'd expect. If you get the steam version you can chat Via steam to mates and have a different friends list to your windows live account.

Edit: Why would you buy the PC version if you have a PS3

im not sure i understand pricey. what am i supposed to expect? what is a steam version? and i dont belive i have a windows live account

no there is a modern warfare 2 pc edition and a Mw2 windows edition. are thay different?

I would suggest you get the ps3 version. I have it for both PC and PS3 and i can say that the pc version i have encountered alot of hackers/glitchers and no hackers on ps3, besides the 10th prestige hack but that's not game braking.

Omg i have the ps3 version!!! i want the pc version for hacking/modding. all i want to kno is if the pc version of the game is differnent for the windows version of it!
