I mean, im pretty sure that snow isnt as hot as a human body, but thats just my best guess...

Would have loved to have seen them do thermal right in the first place. It would actually be worth using that fecking acog. The cross hairs are waaaaaay to thick on it as well. How are you meant to hit an accurate shot when half of your scope is covered by cross hairs.

Nothing personal but I don't think there is any amount of people that can sign any petition for this game and have something actually changed. It just doesn't seem to work.

But yea thermal could be a lot better

I wouldnt even mind black&white thermal, but on maps like Derail and sub base, i use acog scope ( like said above ) so i can actually see.

Do you think they would do it if we got enough signatures?

And what do you think of the thermal on the Gunships?

If they know a reasonable amount of their customers want something changed, more than want it the same, they'd ( almost ) definitely change it.

Agreed, I wish that it were better.

You would think so but if you recall the PC petition for dedicated servers had over 100k signatures and it IW was firm in not changing it despite pissing off the whole Pc community

i like thermal, i haven't noticed any major change in accuracy when using it. i still 90% 1hit kill. Best thing about it, is the advantage when countersniping.

real thermal is coloured isn't it? and white is the hottest areas, black the coldest and everything in between is like yellow/red.

They took them out so they can charge PC users for map packs, or more accurately Activision took them out. Just something we'll have to live w/; Bobby Kotick likes to masturbate all over our money.

There is nothing wrong with the thermal. You can either have the coloured thermal or a white thermal - cold things show up black and hot things show up white. Maybe not as bright as MW2 but still brightish. Maybe have the coloured thermal for derail cos the snow shouldn't be hot and white, it should be a blackish colour. IW would have had a military advisor with them when making the game to tell them whats what. IW would have also tested some of the weapons and equipment too.
