could be a lot better, try using s-video, use some color correction and try changing your rendering settings.

Okay here are two vids that should help you out, and if you already do not have an s-video cable you should buy one, makes it look a whole lot better in itself.

Here are some good recording settings:

alright i got a s video cable but how do i connect? dont be mean about it please.

yeah well since you are most likely using a dazzle dvc 100 you are going to first make sure in pinnacle studio 12 that the option to record s-video is selected(it should be by the volume control and settings, near the bottom) It also depends on the setup depending on what cords you use etc. Since I didn't personally set up my capture card I wouldn't know but I am pretty sure its like this, you could always try google, ignore his settings just use the setup for cables.

do i need a cable with av and s video because all i have right now is separate cords. is that why it is not working? just answer that and ill leave you alone. thanks.

To be completely honest man, I dont mind helping you at all, its just something I do, contribute not trollin is my thing. I do believe you need some sort of av cable as you cannot simply just plug in the s-video, according to my dad you can get those at radio shack for pretty cheap.
