press the back button as soon as the match starts, whoever has full green bars is host.

also, when the map is loading, if you hear people talking and they cut out but are still talking after the map has loaded, you are host.

Yea but i think this is a much easier way, also sometimes when the game starts there will be a few people with four bars so it can be difficult to tell who is host.

My Nat type used to be Moderate, but somehow yesterday it changed itself to Open.
Im getting Host like 80% of the time now, which to be honest, I HATE!
Its just disgusting to be sniper. Its hard to explain Its hard getting used to concidering i Sniper most of the time

I heard host is not an advantage in mw2 as opposed to other games. when you are host, you will have lag because of the amount of load you are hosting where as other games use another server to host the files. idk, just what I heard.

and if you see multiple people with 4 green bars, you didn't look fast enough.

Host is still quite a advantage in modern warfare 2.

based on what I've read and my own personal experience, I disagree.

Being host has it's ups and downs. The easiest way to tell if you are host, is that when you have selected your class at the beginning of the match and pull up the scoreboard, if you are host you will see that you name sits at the top of the list, separated from all the others, you will then see people begining to join in with you and move from the bottom section to the top section.
