IW really cant "fix" elevators, but IW can put barriors to prevent you from going anywhere. To actually fix the elevator IW would have to remove the object which I don't think they can do.

So, has IW acctually put in barriers or whatever they would do to patch them or is it not patched? I really want to try these out but haven't been able to for ages because my PS3 got YLOD. :(

noobs say things are "patched" simply because they can't do something that other people can do. not because they are. just like the very 1st cp glitch, before it was actually patched they couldn't do it so they said it was patched before it was. don't listen to noobs that claim things they can't do as "patched" test it out yourself first if you already know what to do without watching it on youtube.

Helped me to my first elevator, took me a few tries to achive it though. Does it usually take you long to do a different elevator?

it takes me about 5 seconds to do it on derail and about 45 seconds to a min to do it on karachi, for some reason that one seems to be a bit touchy at times, especially on HC matches =/
