(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright, I've tried everything. I know that I've done everything right but when I test connection and after my IP address is successful then when it checks my internet connection it always fails..why is that?

THX VERY MUCH 4 anyone who posts.

Couple of things.

1. Are you using wired or wireless?
2. Do you have anything else running whilst trying to use the patch blocker ?
3. What internet are you using ?


Try using a wired connection WITHOUT anything else running, Such as the internet on your PC/laptop or anything downloading ect.

Make sure you use the correct I.P that show's up on the patch blocker, Also make sure the port is same too.

Also, Are you sure your actually changing the proxy settings and nothing else.

Thx alot for answering my question, I appreciate it.

I'm using wireless and I'm using firefox I'll try closing everything but I'm not sure if it'll help the error is 80028EA6 if that helps at all :S.

Try reseting your hub
and as above make sure the only thing you change in network settings is use proxy server check ip is correct make sure port is 8080 i believe
also this could be hub security settings

some firewalls "will" stop the patch blocker working properley
