Because they probably wanted more variety, if it was in the game it would be used by everyone, but i personaly wish it was still there.

M40 is a legendary gun.
Intervention has a different feel, but a good one if you know what I mean.

M40 w/ Acog was definetly the best.
It would easily go 1v1 against LMG's and AR's

Because ALOT of people complained about no scoping. I read an interview about mw2 pre-release and they said they had switched the acog for the same reason. They do need more bolt actions though.
