I am using a windows install in a virtualbox for those who know about that type of stuff. Simply Windows inside of Linux. Anyways, I made 2 profiles. PRESTIGE and ERROR. I put them over and made the PRESTIGE with the stats I wanted via the mw2 leaderboard tool. Saved it. I took the 10th prestige error file from the stickied post (off hotfile) and overwrote that on my pendrive. I put them in my ps3. I went into splitscreen. Now when ever I load either of them it gives a data corrupted error. Updates are gone and i did not make use of the proxy patch blocker. Oh and yes, I did go "Play Online" to load my stats for the hack.

Any help as to whats up and/or what I am doing wrong would be thanked greatly.

UPDATE: I tried both files from the 10th prestige hack tread and still get corrupted data when loading the profile. No patches. Anyone? wheres HSx9 or the other hex editors when you need them. I might be in the computer area, but this is not my cup of tea .

Ice-e to the rescue!
Before you freak out, I must tell you this is an EASY PEASY process. I'll explain it from the leaderboard tool part, first open up the reg then select the prestige BEFORE the prestige you want, for example if I wanted 9th prestige, I would select 8 on the leaderboard tool, then replace them over the 2 files you made on your PS3 and move the new files onto your PS3, make sure to go into the usb and select COPY on both files! Then, go into split-screen and load the REG file, start a game with any settings, then end the game after you choose your class. Quit the game and delete the mw2 patch, and configure your network settings with patchblocker. Load up mw2, splitscreen and then load the error file, go to play online to load your stats then back to splitscreen and prestige it. Now quickly load the reg file and go to play online and prestige it.

You are now done! BUT if you get signed out before completing the loading and prestiging part, sign back in and start over from the part where you load the error file. Then you can put your network settings back to normal, and download the patch and play.

Ok, one, did you even read half of my pos. That was almost a c&p off a thread. Sorry for being rude, but no help. I tried using the 9th prestige files for 10th prestige but nothing new. BTW, im not using any proxy to bypass the patch, so no network configuration change is needed. basically i have the badly hexed "error" file and the properly modded "prestige" file. There are copied over. I go and load my online stats, go to split-screen. I go Load-> the "error" file. It loads then gives "data is corrupted". Same for the prestige file. So the spitscreen wont even load the files. I tried the mw2 leaderboard tool to create a custom prestige mpdata and use it with the error mpdata. I also just followed the sticked tut minus the bypasser. I am asking how to get around this corrupted BS, not a guide on how to do the hack.

thanks. I overlooked that I needed to play a game with the patches so it could "upgrade" the profiles to newer versions. Meh, now i just need to make my own prestige file.

Well 1 I actually took some time OUT OF MY DAY to write you that and TWO I told you how to use the leaderboard tool to BYPASS THE CORRUPT DATA. You need to use both the reg and the err files and you load reg and start a split-screen game then backout and quit.

For future reference, don't be such a dick to people who actually try to help you.
