Anyway, I did testing when it was first released and basically any button you can remap is just basically 'in use' as soon as you swap layouts. E.G. Holding down RightBumper and swaping layouts for one with a different input would leave you unable to use your equipment (or special grenades depending on going from Lefty -> D/T or D/T -> Lefty). An interesting side-effect though is if you die with LT and RT swap at the same time then you will be unable to use any buttons after spawing. You can only look around after that until you switch layouts and press the buttons you locked at least once. I.E. Locking in auto fire and ADS, you would need to go back to the first layout and press those buttons at least once to release them.
* The only ones that never change across the 3 layouts are Reload, Change Weapon, and Jump (Although you need A to navigate the menu)
