I took some of the existing mod code today and tweaked it a bit to suit my needs and deployed it to my JTAG.

When I start the game I get a the dreaded "script compile error bad syntax". Since this is my first, I expect I had a typo in my code, so I double checked it, it looks good to me. So I think I left something handing around when I was doing my mass removal of comments, hence my request here.

I will gladly share my patch_mp file for anyone interested, or just my code.

You need to pay attention to the size of your file.

Yeap, got it under control. I decided to remove comments manually from all the .GSCs, (mistake, prone to mistakes).

Here is a tip for all you patch_mp modders, extract each .GSC to .TXT file and then download a tool called CommentRemover.exe and run each file through the tool, then replace the contents using the Patch Editor. This will leave you with a greatly reduced patch_mp file to add lots of custom code to and it's not subject to human error.
