I am a major noob when it comes to the montage community. I bought myself a dazzle dvc 100 (which i regret since it doesn't record HD) and recorded for a few days of sweet quick scopes. I have the raw clips that i am rendering to mp4 with Vegas Pro 9.0.

This is where i am stuck. I really don't know how to get clips out of the footage and edit it. Any suggestions would help A LOT, or video posts with tutorials...

I just open Pinnacle Studio when I record obviously, save the gameplay, then open Vegas Pro twice. In one Vegas I put markers around the clips I want (hit M where you want a clip to start and M where you want it to end), then copy and paste into the 2nd Vegas I opened.
