so basically, this allows you to conserve stamina to jump farther while sprinting. i do this a lot instead of strafe jumping, which is hard as hell for me to do. this kind of jump will get you pretty far, but not as far as a strafe jump (as far as i know).
1) line yourself up to where you want to jump to.
2) back up about 5 feet
3) walk towards the edge
4) just before you get to the edge, start sprinting. this will save your stamina, and still allow you to sprint while jumping.
5) right before you get to the edge, jump. the smaller distance you sprint, the more stamina you have. the more stamina you have, the farther you can jump.
some of you may already do this, but this is just a technique i thought was worth posting. it's pretty helpful. you can get to lots of places you can with strafe jumps too
