In Modern Warfare 2 you need luck and need to be patient to get host. You must lag your own connection, so that the game will never find a game. For more information just watch this video: You must login or register to view this content.

Ok basicly i all you need to do is press the lag switch as you are searching for games, Unpress at 90 - 94 percent and watch the people pop in your lobby. it may take a few attempts but works for me 100% with patience.
