Actually, I use a DVD Recorder so I can hook it up to my Mac, and edit with iMovie. Just record it onto a DVD, and put the DVD in the mac.... Use a ripper program, and import into iMovie, than export onto Youtube Happy

How's the quality recording to a DVD recorder? Isn't there a way to connect the TV (or monitor) to a laptop and just capture what's in the screen with some sort of software? I think that's what fraps does but I would think it would work the same way recording from any display. Maybe I'm way wrong but it's just a thought.

edit**

Perhaps something like this?

Ya, but that only connects to Windows, and I have 3 macs in my house, and one windows desktop which isn't anywhere near my other stuff..... For the DVD recorder, you just keep the DVD in and push record when you want to record something, it also picks up on sound. The quality is AMAZING! I haven't made any videos, (as you need to buy Aimersoft to get the big logo out of there) I'm p[lanning on doing that once I have some nice looking footage lol.
