Infinity Ward has said that it has not been affected by the removal of founders Jason West and Vince Zampella, who were fired from the company by Activision last month.

Community Manager Robert Bowling said that he was not 'personally affected' by the change and that the studio is committed to working on more for Modern Warfare 2.

"I mean what we're doing here is focusing on the DLC and getting that out the door," Bowling told Eurogamer. "Our main focus is making the games we love for the people we love to play them."

When asked whether staff will leave following the removal of West and Zampella, he said: "No - I mean the whole team here is focused on DLC and that's what we've always been focused on."

An Activision PR representative said to "stay tuned" regarding the studio's involvement in future Call Of Duty games.

The first downloadable content for Modern Warfare 2, titled the Stimulus Package, will be a 30-day Xbox Live exclusive when released on March 30.
