At least I can fight
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I just bought the Insignia NS-L42Q-10A, and I'm having problems playing Modern Warfare 2 and other games, because there is a delay from when I push a button on the controller, and when the screen actually shows me doing it. This isn't just in game, it's everything. This didn't happen on my old TV when I was using composite a/v cables. On this TV, I use HDMI in 1080p. But just to check, I tried the composite a/v cables, and there was still a delay- so this problem has nothing to do with the cables.

Next, I hear that you can set it to "Game Mode." (1) Does anybody know how to do that with THIS tv? (2) And if that's not the solution what is?

This is really annoying, because everybody else has a third of a second advantage on me. And don't reply saying "exchange it" because this TV is beautiful. Please only reply if you know you're going to help me with this problem. I mainly want to know how to set it to "Game Mode."

PS. Even when the controller is plugged in and charging, there still is delay. Also, the controller vibrates on time when I shoot- so the controller vibrates normal but the tv is behind so it seems the tv is off with the vibration, but the controller vibrates first, on time. So the controller also isn't the problem.

If you have surround sound on your PS3/TV enabled, disable it manually.
My TV (LG) has surround sound but it causes(or rather caused) audio lag.

P.S. This is the wrong section btw, considering this problem is for your whole system, not just MW2.

No surround sound. I have a turtlebeach, but the problem still happens when I use and when I don't.

No, sometimes when you put 1080p as your setting on your PS3 it will automatically select surround sound.
Just manually change it till the lag goes away.

Do you have an LCD tv? LCD tv's have lag when it comes to fast moving images. They measure lag in milliseconds. usually 5 ms or lower is good. If you have 8 ms then you'll suffer some lag with the image being displayed. Hopefully that helps ya.

Just return your LCD and get your money back or take different brand.(SONY,SAMSUNG,LG) best 3 brands on market right now. It is a little more money but hey its worth it.

And you cannot spell two simple words.

On my TV though there is a menu option and a button my remote to set it to game mode.
